Influential Albums: B.B. King Live in Japan

A few months ago, I chatted online about albums that have influenced me. One that's very dear to my heart is B.B. King Live in Japan,  recorded at Sankei Hall, Tokyo, on March 4th and 7th, 1971. 

If you haven't heard this album, check it out! There is pure magic captured in these recordings. Mr. King is at his prime, the band is on fire, and the audience is more than responsive. 

With classics like "Sweet Sixteen" and "The Thrill Is Gone," the album covers live versions of the hits - while also featuring some deeper cuts for B.B. loyalists alike.
